When you send something to your list it is important that you provide value. Make sure you study your industry and find information that will be useful for your prospect. Don't try to always "sell" them on the idea of selling out. Let them know that you understand the value and remind them that you are there if they ever have the need to sell. Provide options but be careful to never sound pushy when presenting information. Make it useful and they will be more likely to contact you. This means you must constantly be looking for information related to your industry and provide that information in a timely manner to your potential client through your marketing efforts.

The bottom line is your prospect must feel that you are offering a value to them. You need to be the professional you present yourself to be. You need to be able to present them with a solution that will meet their needs and you need to provide answers to questions they may have. The hardest part is you must provide these answers often before the question is presented. You must anticipate the question or need that your prospect may have.
